Introduction
The following article intends to explain the best workflow for users to take when working with DeMeter configuration. By doing so, users can ensure that no parts of their configuration are without information whilst also avoiding doing parts of their configuration multiple times.

Home Menu
Upon accessing the DeMeter Configurator, the user is redirected the the Home menu. From this menu, users can choose to load the current configuration, apply any changes they may have made, import or export configurations.

| Apply the configuration open in the browser to the installed DeMeter Service. | |
| Load the current configuration from the installed DeMeter Service to the browser. | |
| Rollback the configuration used by the installed DeMeter Service to the one used previously. | |
| Open a saved configuration file (.json) in the browser. | |
| Save the open configuration in the browser to a file (.json) |
Workflow
When first setting up the DeMeter configuration, it is recommended to work primarily top to bottom when looking at the navigation bar. By doing so, you first will ensure that all the lower level parts of your configuration are in place prior to make larger changes.
